Description: Defenseless is a movie starring Barbara Hershey, Sam Shepard, and Mary Beth Hurt. A lawyer is hired to defend an old college friend accused of murdering her husband.

Plot: Lawyer T.K. represents Steven Seldes, who claims that he is innocent of involvement in making under-age porn movies. He is also her lover, so when she meets his wife things are awkward for her - he didn't say he was married and his wife turns out to be an old student friend. Next day she confronts him at his office and a fight ensues in which she injures him. When she returns later on, she finds Steven is dead, and has been stabbed 18 times. Upon finding Ellie's sweater on the crime scene, the Police arrest her for the murder, and T.K. agrees to defend her.
