Description: Tru Love is a movie starring Kate Trotter, Peter MacNeill, and Shauna MacDonald. A lesbian with commitment issues befriends a widowed mother who is visiting her workaholic daughter.

Plot: Tru, a commitment-phobic lesbian, is drawn into an emotionally close relationship with Alice (Kate Trotter), the visiting mother of her friend, Suzanne (Christine Horne). As their affection deepens, Suzanne tries to sabotage the budding romance. In the end, Tru and Alice become physically intimate. Alice heads back home, and the relationship ends when Tru learns Alice had died on the train.
